To day we have upgraded a Sony Laptop model number VGN-FW11e to Windows 10, this is quite an old laptop and originally running Windows Vista, upgraded to Windows 7 a few years ago and now running Windows 10, after many failed attempts by the customer to install the update he called on us to resolve the issue with Windows updates, after reading this on Windows Ten Forums we were able to update the very old chipset drivers and then complete the Windows 10 installation. A very happy customer who has taken advantage of the Windows 10 free upgrade offer before it expired. The laptop now runs faster and this saving the customer having to pay for a new laptop and safe in the knowledge that windows is secure and the updates now work.
